
Mind United is an England Accredited Football club that primarily provides football opportunities for adults with mental health issues and disabilities.
Mind United uses the power of football, the national sport, to improve its members' mental health and overall well-being and create an inclusive community of football lovers.
Research shows that physical activity can boost self-esteem, mood, sleep quality and energy and reduce your risk of stress.
A Mind United FC Spokesperson said: "This includes providing a platform at our clubhouse for social interaction, peer support, and the opportunity to improve physical fitness and develop new skills."
The aims are promoting positive mental health and reducing isolation by providing a safe and supportive environment to connect with others with whom you might have shared experiences.
While also working on the broader community to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues by promoting awareness and understanding while also promoting social inclusion, physical activities and reducing social isolation.
It positively impacts not only their mental health but also their physical health through exercise.

They play in the men's Brunel League and the Surrey League.
