Places to watch Euro 2024

The Smell of beer and English pride cracks down on England fans this summer with the ever-strong optimism that this will be our tournament to win.

From throwing your beers in the air when Kane scores from the penalty spot. To hand over faces when England is competing without a trophy, the euros are a whirlwind.

Here are some places across the UK to watch England break our hearts this summer. Always check your local football club and pub, as it is the season's must-see event for them.

        Fan zones

This is not just the Boxpark all around London; the FA sets these up to officially show the euros. These fan zones are called 4TF ( for the fans). They are officially confirmed events for the Euro 2024 up and down the country. Unlike the box parks, these were only created for this competition. The house has everything you need to watch a game, including food and drinks, and big screens across the location to watch it everywhere in the zones, so you never miss a minute or goal in the games. You do not need to be at the opening game to exercise preshow performances with music and performances to add to the atmosphere and get your energy up and nerves down. Hopefully, fingers cross.

So here's your list of locations and everything you need to know.

  • Sheffield Fan City, located at Devonshire Green, with a capacity of 4,000 for all the family- recommend pre-booking for the England game; however, it's open throughout the tournament
  • Nottingham area is the hub of the midlands, being described as having the biggest one, but remember to register so you can get a seat. Another one is for Nottingham residents in Notts County, which has an official Fan Zone called The Nest at their Meadow Lane Stadium. This sounds perfect if you still want the stadium experience but cannot go to Germany.
  • Now the most famous fan zone, these arenas are a permitted structure and have been growing. I have personally been there, and it was a fantastic atmosphere, with a DJ and bars and a food court of different sequences for everything to try perfect for those picky eaters. You might. Know BoxPark from the Instagrams on the England Instagram, so if you want to become Instagram famous and get on their accounts, head early to get a seat at the front. BoxPark has venues in Liverpool, croydon, Wembley and Shoreditch.
  • Manchester is the home of football outside London for me; the football city of the North has it all from the Road to Victory at Diecast; the city is full of beer gardens with big screens showing the England game. You wouldn’t run out of place to go for the game. Pub Crawl, I hear you say.
  • Jude Bellingham's home city, Birmingham, is taking it seriously. The largest city in the midlands has its own Luna Spring, which was taken over during a significant tournament with England fans. The most extensive outdoor bar in the city, it's perfect to watch when the sun is out. It has a capacity of 2,500  but only 1,000 tickets for fans. All non-England games are free, and Three Lion games are only ten pounds per head and come with either a can of Carling or Rekordlig—beer. Areas like Boxppark have food and other entertainment options.
  • Way up in Leeds, Millennium Square is hosting a fan zone for all the England group stages, and if they progress, additional events will be added to the timetable. Tickets are £5, and all England games must be pre-booked, so to see it on the only big screen in Leeds, you must book soon. Be warned that if the three lions get to the quarter-final stage, the square is closed for live music with Tom Grennan, who is booked with a sell-out crowd. Be warned to rearrange your plans accordingly if this prevails.
  • Leadmill, known for cheap drinks, will swap the nightclub's life for footy fun. The club has guaranteed free entry for all three of England's group stage affairs on a first-come, first-serve basis. The club has a capacity of 900 fans, so turn up.
  • Time Square Newcastle, no, you are not mistaken with the New York Times Square, will take up the fan zone title for Newcastle in the Central Park Euro 2024 fan zone with their new partnership with Luoxzase. There will be a large LED screen so hundreds of fans can catch every match live. All non-English games will be free of charge, but to watch along the Three Lions journeys, there will be between £7.50-£12 per person plus a booking fee—the pre and post-match entertainment.
  • Bristol Propyard, which was previously closed earlier this year, will open up the fan zone in the area. With three former Lions stars, Emile Heskey, and other unique special guests, live music and entertainment surrounding the game, and a £10 entry fee, you are getting a lot of bang for your buck. With food and drink to boot.

No fan parks or unable to get tickets. Here are some other ideas. Local pubs nationwide will be screening the games, or you could have your viewing party at home.

Top lists in London

  • screenings at Lower Marsh in Waterloo.
  • The piano works, Covent Garden and Farrington, when you book a table for England matches: burger, fries and a drink for £15. There are also pre-match happy hour drinks.
  • Vinegar Yard, London Bridge, for an Alfresco big screen.
  • Neverland London on Chelsea, aka Fulamn Beach Club, you heard me right, is a sandy beach in London that is rainproof; if England wins, everyone gets a free drink, so get down to the beer garden after work.

It's not just England getting in the football spirit; Scotland is back in the Euros for the connective time, and Scotland is relieved by their team's new success. Dunfermline has planned a fan zone at East End Park, one of the largest in Scotland.

So get ready, go out, and have some fun, but be safe and not start any fights if England loses.
