Chelsea has become the first Premier League and WSL team to partner with Cadbury to provide British Sign Language interpreters on-screen at all home games this season.

This will take place at Stamford Bridge but also at Kingsmeadow in domestic and European football courses of the performance interpreting.

This is part of a campaign to build in collaboration with Cadburys sign with Finger campaign and the Chelsea Deaf Suppers Group and the Nation Deaf Children’s society.

The aim of this is to celebrate and promote inclusion within the fans and the club community.

‘It’s fantastic to have a full provision for BSL interpreters at all the club’s matches and stadiums for the coming season,’ said Dean Humphreys, head of the Chelsea Deaf Supporters Group.

‘Being able to communicate with the club fully means so much to deaf Chelsea fans and I am so proud that both sides are providing this service – a first in both the Premier League and Women’s Super League. It’s a great win for all of us.’

Hannah Hampton knows some sign language as her cousin is deaf.

This roll out does not end at the stadiums but also BSL interpreters will attend the clubs’ fan forums, and also BSL-led stadium tours which were established last season.

This initiative for Chelsea is to show the clubs commitment to make their stadium accessible to all and to ensure every supporter feels welcome and included on a match day.

Also Chelsea will donate a portion of Club World Cup prize money to the family of Diego Jota and Andre Silva.

The player's bonus pot of £11.4million will partly be donated to the family after a joint decision between the club and the squad.

The allocated amount is more than $500,000 before tax and conversion cost, however it's not about the amount as such but the fact that they have decided to do it. This is according to the Athletic

Chelsea player Pedro Neto played for Jota at Wolves and for Portugal where they most recently won the Nations League trophy.
