The latest FIFA Women's World Rankings have dropped, and there has been a shake-up across the board.
England has dropped to fifth in the rankings, while Spain and Germany are now both ranked above the European trophy holders after the Lionesses lost two of the four Nation League games they have played.
Belgium beat England in a five-goal thriller in April, while Euro 2025 favourites Spain came from behind to beat the Lionesses 2-1 earlier this month.
As a result, England has fallen behind Brazil while the USA, Spain, and Germany maintain their top three spots.
Brazil has won three of its last four fixtures, including a 2-1 win over the United States and back-to-back games against Japan, which dropped from fifth to seventh in the rankings.
USA holds firm at No. 1, continuing its dominance at the top. Brazil is on the rise, jumping into 4th after a string of strong results.
Sweden is ranked 6th in the world
England EURO group stage opponent France climbed back into the top 10, showing consistency under new leadership.
Australia edged up to 15th as they build towards a new era post-World Cup. Ireland moved up to 25th after steady improvements in recent friendlies and qualifiers.
The Netherlands dropped to 11th and will look to bounce back ahead of a crucial summer.
Wales are the lowest-ranked side out of all 16 teams set to compete at Euro 2025, at 30th.
Switzerland, the Euro 2025 host, is ranked 23rd globally and 13th among the teams competing in the Euros.
