Lia Walti, the Swiss international who led her country, the host nation of the Euros, into the knockout stage for the first time, is likely to leave Arsenal.

The midfielder seems to be moving to Juventus. It is reported that the two sides have agreed on personal terms, and the Swiss captain is set to join immediately.

Italy’s transfer window is on September 10th, five days after the WSL.

Walti has been at Arsenal for over seven years, making 100+ appearances and winning three trophies.

Walti captained Switzerland in their home Euros this summer and has over 100 international caps.

The Italian club is negotiating the fee for the 32-year-old, who has a year remaining on her Gunners contract.

The gooner sided for them in the summer of 2018 and won the WSL in the 2018-19 season, though she suffered an LCL injury that kept her out of football for nine months. She was included in the 2018-19 PFA Team of the Year. Since then, she won the League Cup in the 2023/24 season and the Champions League last season.
