Mary Earps official message on her instagram to the fans.
“Dear the United family, After 5 years of service to your great club, I have decided that it's time for a new challenge. It's a decision I've gone backwards and forwards on for some time, and is not one l've made lightly. The club is about to undergo a period of transition, and unfortunately I don't feel it aligns with the timing of where l'm at in my career, therefore I think now is the right time to make a change and embark on a new challenge. There aren't the right words, or enough words, to express my heartfelt gratitude to you all, but I hope the below comes somewhere close.
I'm proud to have played every league minute for the badge for the past 5 seasons, and even more proud for us as a team to have broken the record of the most clean sheets kept in a season in 2023.
The icing on the cake was winning the FA Cup at Wembley, a trophy I've always dreamed of winning, with you all singing at the top of your voices. I could list so many more of my favourite memories, but these in particular l'll cherish. Thave loved playing in front of you all, near and far but especially at Leigh Sports Village and Old Trafford. It doesn't feel real that I won't be playing in front of you all again next season, and I'm sad we re saying goodbye. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for your incredible support over the years; the ups and the downs, I'm grateful for it all.
To my teammates, there have been some special people to grace our changing room over the past 5 years. I'm fortunate to have stood alongside you all and I'll be rooting for you.
Although this United chapter has sadly come to a close, I take with me a heart full of incredible
memories. Thank you for welcoming me as one of your own and letting me be a part of your club. I wish you all the very best for the future andI hope I can continue to make you proud in my next chapter.
GGMU.
Your number 27,
Mary x“
Mary Earps is officially leaving Manchester United to move to PSG after there were rumors in the January window that she was going to Arsenal. With Lucia Garcia and Parris also leaving manchester this summer. Manchester United have a problem on there hands but of there own doing.
Tonu Duggan, former England Forward, will leave Everton again when her contract expires next month.
Nobbs and Turners is here to stay at Aston Villa until 2025.
Lucy Bronze will also leave Barcelona this summer on a free transfer. There are rumours that Chelsea wants Bronze, which would be a good addition, especially as she knows and has played with or against most of the Chelsea team.
In a shocking turn of events, Katie Zelem, Manchester United Captain, is also leaving this summer.
This comes as Sir Jim Radcliffe only wanted to invent in the men's team. Not the women's, though they have both won their FA cups respectfully; this also comes as the women's team is being kicked out of their training ground and put into temporary buildings as the means ground is being closed for revocation. Therefore, the men's team are taking over the women's training ground, though they should have taken the temporary one as it's their ground that's shut, not the women's. Why should the women's team move for the men when they are not just as good but better than them all season? This led to no surprises into why so many of their players have decided to leave, given the new ownership's lack of investment or interest in the game's development.
Two Lionesses have left Manchester City for foreign clubs, with full back Esme Morgan departing to National Women's Soccer League side Washington Spirit.
Goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck, following a turbulent season which saw her suffer a minor strike and lose her starting place at City, has joined Champions League winners Barcelona on a free transfer.
New Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor got an ideal welcome gift in Sam Kerr signing a two-year contract extension.
Kerr is out until 2025 with an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury, but the five-time WSL champion has scored 99 goals in 128 matches for Chelsea and is a fan favourite - even after teasing her exit in a bizarre social media video before her new contract was confirmed.
While Arsenal persuaded Williamson and Blackstenius to commit their futures to north London, Vivianne Miedema did not.
Arsenal chose not to offer a new contract to all-time WSL record scorer and, unsurprisingly, the biggest clubs in women's football have been linked with such a proven star.
England midfielder Keira Walsh has one year left on her contract at Barcelona, and a return to the WSL has been mooted with the Gunners reportedly keen.
One Barca player out of contract this summer is Spain international Mariona Caldentey, with Arsenal also monitoring her availability as they seek attacking replacements for Miedema.
Real Madrid winger Hayley Raso - also out of contract - is another reported target to compete with international team mate Caitlin Foord at Emirates Stadium.
The most recognisable WSL keeper out of contract this summer is England's Mary Earps.
The Manchester United stopper was reported in May to be in talks to renew her Red Devils deal, which expires this summer.
No confirmation of an extension has come yet, which means speculation over Earps' future persists. Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested.
Even after winning five WSL titles in a row, Chelsea are refusing to stand still.
They are expected to make PSG striker Sandy Baltimore their first signing of the Bompastor era, while reports in Spain have linked them with a move for Ballon D'Or and World Cup winning midfielder Aitana Bonmati.
The 26-year-old has another 12 months left on her Barcelona contract, and Chelsea could have to trigger her release clause - reported to be £2.5 million, which would smash the women's world transfer record.
nother England international on the move is Katie Robinson. The forward has left Brighton, and is being tipped to move to the USA.
Grace Clinton is the subject of transfer speculation after a successful loan spell at Tottenham last season. Spurs are keen to bring her back, but parent club Manchester United are likely to want the creative midfielder to stay.
One of the most intriguing summer transfer sagas could involve Aston Villa midfielder Alisha Lehmann.
The Swiss international has been linked with Juventus - as her boyfriend, Douglas Luiz, is rumoured to be transferring between the respective men's clubs.
